Joseph J. DiDio Snack Station

Joe DiDio was born in Peekskill and served in the army as an interpreter in Italy.

A member of the Mt. Carmel Society, Joe was a yeast maker at Fleischmann's.

He married Marie Weise and raised 4 daughters in Verplanck.

Joe "The Can Man" collected bottles and cans -

giving the deposit money and much more to families in need.

We celebrate his spirit at the Mt. Carmel Food Pantry.

Volunteers train to work one shift per month.  Food training and non discrimination training must be completed. The Pantry welcomes everyone from seniors in high school to senior citizens to train and share the love!  Email MtCarmelFoodPantry@gmail.com
